UW-Extension, working with University of Minnesota Extension and the Conservation Professional Training Program is hosting a Tile Drainage Design & Water Management Workshop in Oshkosh January 10-11 2017. This workshop is an intense, two-day workshop is designed for drainage contractors and farmers installing their own drainage tile.

 Experts from Wisconsin and Minnesota will cover a wide variety of topics, from permitting and legal issues to a comprehensive look at project design.

Tile drainage is a fairly common practice in certain parts of the Fox-Wolf River Basin.  Watch future issues of the Source for updates regarding drain tile research happening in the Lower Fox River.
