I mow a lot more often during May mulching with the mower set at 3.5 inches which leaves dandelions blooms and the clover blooms for pollinators. I like more frequent mulching when grass grows fast. I believe the finer grass clippings fall deep into the grass making kess runoff.

We're so glad you brought this up! We work with local launch owners to discuss getting running water stations at boat launches. For some launches, the idea has been explored and it would be very expensive to get running water added. For these launches, we are working to get shared tools installed to help clean off boats and trailers (such as brushes, a grabber tool to pull off the hard to reach plants on a trailer, etc.). There are a few launches around the Winnebago System that have washer stations installed currently! Check out the City of Neenaha Recreation Park (Lake Winnebago) and Fritse Park (Little Lake Butte des Morts). As other launches get washer stations or boat cleaning tools installed, we will post updates to our website. Keep checking back in!

Hey Tom,
According to the Winnebago County Parks Department, they typically remove the pier in mid to late October depending on weather conditions.
