River Planning Grant Awarded to Expand Training and Outreach Opportunities Sponsored by NEWSC

The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance and the Northeast Wisconsin Stormwater Consortium (a subsidiary of FWWA) were recently awarded a WDNR River Planning Grant for 2017 – 2018.  The awarded grant will be used to strengthen and broaden our educational and training opportunities.

Some of the training opportunities will include:

• Certified Inspection of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC) training – scheduled for April 4-5th in Oshkosh.  For more information or to register click here.
• Erosion Control workshop for builders and contractor – to be planned for Winter 2018
• Winter Parking Lot Maintenance workshop – being planned for Fall of 2017

In addition, the grant will allow existing educational materials to be updated and new materials to be created.

Updates on workshops will be posted to the Source as well as be made available on the NEWSC website (www.NEWSC.org).
