Did you know your local Land Conservation department partners with Wisconsin Land+Water organization to provide local programs to educate and inspire youth on conservation issues? The programs consist of the national student competition – Envirothon, youth speaking contests, youth poster contests, and youth conservation camps. The poster contest theme for 2017 was “Healthy Soils Are Full Of Life!”
Wisconsin had three Students that Took First place in the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) 2016 Poster/Photo Contest! Programs are available for students in grades K-12. Contact Nikki Truyman at Outagamie County Land Conservation Department (920) 832-5073 for more information.
