Registration is open for the Fox-Wolf Watershed Cleanup!
The Cleanup takes place on Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The Cleanup Picnic will take place at Telulah Park in Appleton from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
We’re hoping to see 1,000+ volunteers join us this coming April. We’ve already had nearly 200 volunteers sign up since registration opened a week ago!
Since FWWA first started coordinating this annual Cleanup, our efforts have really expanded. Currently, we have over 60 Cleanup sites coordinated throughout the Fox-Wolf River Basin. The Cleanup is truly a community event, bringing sponsors, donors, and volunteers from throughout the community together for the sole purpose of cleaning up the lakes and rivers we all cherish–and having fun while doing so.
Do you want to help out with this growing effort? Click below to get started! Volunteers registered by April 8th will be guaranteed a free Cleanup t-shirt.
This year, the registration process includes the volunteer waiver form, now called “additional terms & conditions,” so registration is quick and easy.

Site Leaders
Site Leaders are so important for making the Cleanup a success. Every Cleanup location needs a Site Leader who helps with bringing supplies (t-shirts, trash bags, gloves, trash grabbers, map, etc.), checking in volunteers, keeping track of trash collected, and returning supplies (and any tires collected) to the Cleanup Picnic. We really appreciate our Site Leaders and send a big thank you to those who have already signed up to lead a site!
If you’re interested in leading a site, please fill out the Site Leader Survey. All site leaders will be recognized at the Cleanup Picnic, and will be entered into a Site Leader raffle with great prizes.
Be sure to check this out at the Cleanup Picnic!
Volunteers from NEST have tricks that are a treat!
Volunteers with the Northeast Wisconsin Skateboarding Trust (NEST) will be participating in the Cleanup this year and taking over at Telulah Park. During the Cleanup Picnic, these skaters will be showing off their skills at the Telulah skate park. Be sure to check them out!
Steve Keller’s Traveling Snake Show
Steve Keller is returning this year and bringing his snakes! We’ve noticed that kids seem less fearful of these adorable creatures than most adults. Let’s change that this April. Make sure to stop by and s-s-say hello at the Cleanup Picnic.
Bounce Houses from Jump Around Rentals
We’re mixing things up again this year. We will have not one, not two, but three inflatables at the Picnic! We will have a bounce house, an obstacle course, and a hungry hippos game. We excited to have you try these out in April.
