For the second year in a row, Shawano Downtown and the Shawano Parks & Recreation Department hosted the Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting Ceremony at Franklin Park. The event was held on November 30th from 2-5 pm. Due to inclement weather, the tree lighting ceremony was cancelled. Before the event was cancelled, attendees could visit Santa, pose with two reindeer, roast s’mores, complete a scavenger hunt, and take a horse drawn wagon ride!

There was a great turnout from local businesses for this year’s event. Connecting Our Waters hosted a tree for the second year in a row.

We had a lot of fun decorating the tree to represent our organization and its partnerships. We wanted to showcase all the beautiful lakes in the area and the show off the partners helping to improve those waters.

While decorating our tree, we were lucky enough to get some action shots by Distinct Aerial Shotz.
