Have questions about applying for a Surface Water Grant from the WI Department of Natural Resources?

Are you looking for funding to help restore your favorite lake, river, or other waterway? Do you have a problem with some nuisance plants or aquatic invasive species? Are you wanting to restore your shoreline with native plants to reduce erosion issues on your property? Are you with a local government that wants to hire boat inspectors for your town’s boat launches? This is the learning opportunity for you!

The Surface Water Grants program at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources welcomes citizens and stakeholders to attend an upcoming webinar on July 28th from 10–11 a.m or July 29th from 2-3 p.m. Registration is required. Please register for one of the webinars using the links below.

These special webinars will focus on the funding opportunities, applying, and managing a Surface Water Grant. Attendees will meet program staff, learn about the Surface Water grant program and get tips on applying and managing projects. There will be some time to answer your questions as you prepare your pre-application for the Sept. 2 deadline for new applicants. Hope to see you there!

NOTE: These two webinars cover the same material, you only need to attend one. Focus will be on Education, Planning, and Management Grants, including those for lakes, rivers and aquatic invasive species.
