The Sustainability Institute at UW-Oshkosh is looking for your help with a harmful algal bloom (HAB) project.
From their website: “Our goal is to understand how the public perceives the harmful algal blooms (HABs) that occur in Lake Winnebago and associated waterways, and how these perceptions influence behavior and attitudes towards the waterways and actions we might take to reduce HABs. Our overarching goal is to provide information and tools to improve outreach, education, and policy efforts related to HABs in the Lake Winnebago System. We are working with
key stakeholders like the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance and local public health authorities to meet these goals through actionable science and public outreach and communication.”
