Thank you to the Oshkosh Boat Club!
The Oshkosh Boat Club is a nonprofit social organization located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The Club, consisting of both motorboat and sailboat enthusiasts, promotes boating on Lake Winnebago and surrounding waterways.
The Club recently donated $500 to Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance to help advance water quality improvement efforts in the Fox-Wolf Basin. They also invited Korin and Katie from the Winnebago Waterways Program to present to the Club about current projects in the Winnebago System during one of the Club’s recent member meetings.
The Oshkosh Boat Club meets the 4th Wednesday of every month at 7pm. Most meetings in 2022 are at The Ground Round in Oshkosh. All are welcome to attend. Their Club plans both social and community service activities throughout the year. If you have a love for the beautiful waterways around Lake Winnebago, and want to hang out with some fun loving boaters, we encourage you to check them out!

The Winnebago Waterways Program facilitates regional coordination and implementation of recovery efforts for the Winnebago Lakes and surrounding watersheds. Priority implementation projects are outlined in the Winnebago Waterways Lake Management Plan. Winnebago Waterways is a program of the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance. The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance is an independent non-profit organization that works to protect and restore the water resources of the Fox-Wolf River Basin. We are focused on finding cost effective, science-based solutions. To meet our goals, we work with partners to maximize efficiencies, bringing resources to those who are already doing great work while utilizing our strengths to fill gaps when needed.
