Membership has BENEFITS!

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources list Urban and Rural Nonpoint source pollution as the leading contributor to water quality issues in Wisconsin.  The US EPA Phase II and Wisconsin Administrative Code NR216, Stormwater Rules, are designed to address Urban Stormwater Pollution issues.  In order to comply with NR216, communities meeting certain population thresholds need to obtain Stormwater permits.

The Northeast Wisconsin Stormwater Consortium, created in 2005 as a division of the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance, is a membership based collaborative of permitted communities, businesses and other entities that share information and services in order to meet urban Stormwater permitting needs.
