Grazing is becoming increasingly popular in the Basin. Whether a herd of dairy heifer or handful of beef cattle, rotational grazing can be great option.

Incentive Rates & Uses

Description: Establishing new pasture and/or hayland.

  • Example Use: Pasture Establishment
  • Practice Type: Ecological Restoration
  • Incentive Rate: $300/acre
  • Practice Lifespan: 5 years
  • Land Incentive: 5 years of average county rental rate
