Trees & shrubs are a great solutions for dealing with soil erosion and providing wildlife habitat long-term. Their deep roots and thick canopies provide shelter and forage for wildlife, while also protect soil against wind and water erosion. This practice is commonly used in combination with other practices to create more diverse habitat.
USES: Hedgerows, Screening, Edge-Feathering, Forest Creation, Habitat Connection and Transition, Wildlife Cover and Forage, Riparian Stabilization
