Trash Free Waters2024-03-12T09:39:36-05:00
Trash Free Waters (TFW) is designed to reduce the amount of trash entering our rivers, lakes, streams, and creeks by preventing waste at its source, removing debris from the water, and investing in research that improves our understanding of how trash enters our waterways in the first place.

Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance engages with these principles primarily through our Annual Watershed Cleanup. We also participate in other targeted campaigns, cleanup events, and outreach and education.

Annual Watershed Cleanup

The Fox-Wolf Watershed Annual Cleanup is the largest volunteer trash cleanup effort in northeast Wisconsin. This event happens on the first Saturday in May every year. Registration typically opens early in February.
