Join us for one of the two upcoming public information sessions to learn about water level management on Lake Winnebago. Presentations will be given by the US Army Corps of Engineers: James Bonetti PE, Project Engineer and Chadwick Shaw, Chief Fox River Operations.

During the presentations, James Bonetti, Project Engineer and Chadwick Shaw, Chief Fox River Operations, will provide an overview of the US Army Corps of Engineers flood risk management strategy, roles, and responsibilities of the Lake Winnebago Watershed operations section. Chad and Jim will describe how the Army Corps takes various interests (lakeshore property owners, recreational boaters, anglers, etc.) into consideration when making decisions about water level management.

These presentations are in advance of the Army Corps fall interagency coordination meeting on the regulation of the outflows from Lake Winnebago into the Lower Fox River. The Army Corps meeting scheduled for October 16th, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Corps of Engineers’ Office is open to the public (2619 East Capitol Drive, Appleton, WI).
