Army Corps Fall Water Level Meeting – open to the public

On October 10th at 2:00 pm, the Army Corps of Engineers will hold a public meeting providing an opportunity for people to give their input about water levels in Lake Winnebago. The meeting will be held at the Corps of Engineers’ Fox River and Wisconsin Operations Office located at 2619 East Capitol Drive in Appleton.

Water levels are an important factor in many lake issues including: recreation, water quality, habitat, aquatic plants, flooding, and erosion, among others. We encourage those interested in the health of the Winnebago Lakes to participate.

From the Army Corps: “This is an interagency meeting that will be open to the public. It is being conducted to exchange information between the Corps of Engineers and representatives of other groups that have expressed an interest in the water resources management of the Lake Winnebago Basin.”

The meeting agenda:
a. Regulation Actions, October 2017 – September 2018
b. Regulation Strategy, October 2018 – September 2019
c. Other Items of Concern
