The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) recently sent out a PRESS RELEASE regarding a new, updated version of the Wisconsin Runoff Risk Advisory Tool.

This tool was developed to give producers the ability to assess runoff risks prior to the spreading of manure on agricultural fields.

The use of the tool should help producers make better manure management decisions in an effort to improve water quality.

You can view the existing advisory tool HERE.  In addition, DATCP is allowing viewers to try out a simulated version of the new tool.  This LINK will take you to the new, simulated version of the tool.

The press release indicates that the NEW Wisconsin Runoff Risk Advisory Tool will be available for use starting on February 1st, 2019.
