Informational Clean Boats, Clean Waters Night: Winneconne Town Hall

Come out to the first Winnebago Waterways Clean Boats, Clean Waters Open House at the Winneconne Town Hall on March 13th, 2019!

This event is designed for people to come find out more about aquatic invasive species (AIS) and the Clean Boats Clean Waters (CBCW) Program. If you are interested in learning about CBCW, volunteering to help with CBCW, or even AIS Monitoring, this open house is for you! This will be Fox-Wolf’s first CBCW Open House. The event will be hosted by Chris Acy, the AIS Coordinator for Fond du Lac, Winnebago, and Calumet counties. If attendees are interested in volunteering, Chris will find a time to do a formal CBCW training.

Chris will also provide information on Water Hyacinth and how to identify it! This is opportune given that water hyacinth keeps being found near Winneconne.
