Six Aquatic Invasive Species Educators Join FWWA for the Summer

Thanks to a contract from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance was able to grow our aquatic invasive species program in the Winnebago Waterways by hiring six educators for Summer 2019! Our AIS Education team will be out at boat launches for a large portion of the summer and fall talking with boaters while conducting Clean Boats, Clean Waters Interviews with water users. You may have already met some of the team in June! Make sure to talk with them and say hello when you are out on the Winnebago System! Our Education team has also been at a few public events such as the Mills Fleet Farm Kids Fishing Day and plans on being at other events through the rest of the Summer and into Fall. You may see them at events such as the Oshkosh Farmers Market, the Fond du Lac Fondue Festival, and the Mills

Fleet Farm Fall Expo. The Education team has been doing a spectacular job and continues to work hard to help protect our waterways!
