To Our Lake Winnebago Partners:
You are invited to attend an interagency coordination meeting concerning the regulation of the outflows from Lake Winnebago into the Lower Fox River. The meeting will be held at the Corps of Engineers’ Fox River and Wisconsin Operations Office located at 2619 East Capitol Drive, Appleton, WI on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM (C.S.T). A map of the location is enclosed.
This interagency meeting is open to the public and will include opportunities for the attendees to provide input. It is being conducted to exchange information between the Corps of Engineers and representatives of other groups that have expressed an interest in the water resources management of the Lake Winnebago Basin. More specifically, the annual drawdown will be discussed and a drawdown target elevation will be selected.
The meeting agenda is as follows:
a. Summary of current conditions across the basin
b. Development of the drawdown strategy and target
c. Other Items of Concern
