The Winnebagoland Conservation Alliance is looking for your help!

They have partnered with other groups to create a more comprehensive list of shore fishing access sites.

The Alliance is looking for your help in documenting things like where these sites are, what their conditions are like, what types of fish you can catch, etc.

Why do they want this information?

Everyone should be able to go fishing! Not everyone has a boat, or the ability to get in and out of a boat. This has led them to want to improve the information related to shore fishing. This information is lacking statewide and they want to fix it.

Their goal is to add better signage at these sites and include directions on how to get there so everyone can have equal access to fishing.

Below is the link to a survey where you can provide information about a Wisconsin shore fishing site.

Bob Haase is taking the lead on these efforts. If you want to learn more or have questions, you can reach him at flytier@milwpc.com.
