Hello Volunteers!

We are still looking for volunteers for the site circled in red on the map for the 2026 season!

Do you enjoy being out on the water? Are you interested in seeing how the work we are doing affects water quality? We have an opportunity for you!

We are looking for water quality monitoring volunteers with access to a boat for the 2026 monitoring season and beyond.

2026 site in need of volunteers:

Site WW-07: Lake Winnebago – 2 miles from Neenah (44.18305, -88.40418), closest boat landings are Doty Park and Recreation Park in Neenah and Grundman County Boat Launch.

Lake locations require a boat (for safety concerns, boats that can handle 2-4 foot swells are required). We provide sampling equipment (besides boats) and training! Volunteers should expect to commit about 4 hours for training and about 2 hours per month per sampling site.

Sites are sampled from May – October.

This is a great way to experience the watershed while contributing to our efforts to understand how to protect and restore water quality.

To sign up, please contact Katie at katherine@fwwa.org or 920-851-6472. Trainings will be held in late April or early May. We hope to hear from you!
