In a partnership with USDA, our Farm Climate Smart program will help producers implement sustainable farming practices to improve the Fox-Wolf Basin’s water quality. We know that the same practices that increase farm sustainability by sequestering carbon and increasing soil health also offer the benefit of improved water quality.

Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance has been a local leader in supporting Wisconsin agriculture for nearly a decade. As an organization, we see a need for making the state’s agricultural systems more sustainable. Today, with Farm Climate Smart, we are able to advance one of our key initiatives, improving water quality through sustainable farming practices.

Farm Climate Smart is more than just an incentive program. It’s also about Northeast Wisconsin farmers building community. It’s about empowered farmers making lasting, sustainable changes to their operations. It’s about local producers leading the charge in making a more sustainable agricultural future for generations to come.
