Seven Educators Talk To Boaters and Anglers at Local Boat Launches

Thanks to a contract from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance was able to grow our aquatic invasive species program in the Winnebago Waterways by hiring seven educators for Summer 2020! Our AIS Education team will be out at boat launches for a large portion of the summer and fall talking with boaters while conducting Clean Boats, Clean Waters Interviews with water users. You may have already met some of the team in June! Make sure to talk with them and say hello when you are out on the Winnebago System! The Education team has been doing a spectacular job! Our team is following recommended safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 including social distancing and wearing masks. We continue to work to help protect our lakes and protect our community!

The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance staff continue to work to protect and restore our water resources during these difficult times. We continue to follow safety guidelines while conducting meetings, implementing projects, and other works to protect the community at large. Stay safe!

Winnebago Waterways is a Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance program. The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance is an independent nonprofit organization that identifies and advocates effective policies and actions that protect, restore, and sustain water resources in the Fox-Wolf River Basin.
